Travel Technology Account Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager with a background in the travel industry to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a travel agent and be proficient in using Amadeus Travel Seller, Sabre, Travelport, and other GDS systems.

This role is crucial for handling tech support for our customers, including feature requests, bug reports, and overall customer communication on behalf of our technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Support and Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feature requests, and bug reports.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
    • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure customer issues are addressed promptly.
  2. Account Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Monitor client accounts to ensure they are utilizing our technology effectively and provide ongoing support.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review their satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Utilize knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus Travel Seller, Sabre, Travelport) to assist clients with booking and fulfillment processes.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to clients on using our technology solutions.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in travel technology and industry trends.
  4. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with the technology team to relay customer feedback and prioritize feature requests and bug fixes.
    • Provide regular reports on customer support activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a travel agent, with a strong understanding of the travel industry and online travel agencies.
  • Proficiency in using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, etc.
  • Previous experience in roles such as fulfillment agent, booking agent, customer service, and support within an online travel agency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling tech support or similar roles within a technology company.
